Job Summary
My client is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Project Manager to lead a team for 20+ project manager to drive end-to-end execution across IT infrastructure & Network projects. This role will be pivotal in driving project excellence, ensuring governance compliance, and enabling successful delivery across complex portfolios.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and guide a team of project managers in delivering Network, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Center programs.
- Provide strategic direction to the Project Management Office (PMO), establishing governance frameworks, delivery standards, and best practice guidelines.
- Continuously enhance project management methodologies, reporting systems, and governance processes to drive efficiency and transparency.
- Partner with stakeholders, customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Proactively assess risks, implement preventive measures, and ensure adherence to governance, security, risk management, and quality assurance standards.
- Prepare and present clear portfolio updates, dashboards, and reports for C-level executives and senior leadership.
- Optimize resource allocation, manage costs effectively, and ensure delivery capacity meets organizational priorities.
Requirements & Qualifications :
- A bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, IT, Management, or a related discipline is required
- Over 15 years of project management in IT and at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Professional certifications on project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP (Agile) is preferred
- Extensive expertise in project governance, PMO operations, portfolio oversight, risk management, escalation handling, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and enforce accountability.
- Strong strategic mindset with advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent client-centricity skills, good presentation skill and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties at all levels
