Our client is looking for a skillful Network Project Manager to lead their Network Migration project.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end network migration projects from planning, design, implementation, and post-migration support.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (network engineers, vendors, and stakeholders) to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with network security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on Cisco and Huawei network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to migration services and hardware/software procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Around 10 years’ work experience in Project Management of IT infrastructure
- Proven experience in network project management with a focus on Cisco / Huawei migration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, Huawei VRP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, and SDN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on time and within budget.
