We are looking for a seasoned professional to take on role of Lead AI Engineer and Project Manager within the banking technology space.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI development for banking applications.
- Collaborate with Retail, Corporate, Risk, and Compliance units to align AI solutions with business goals.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery using Agile or Waterfall in regulated financial environments.
- Act as Business Analyst to translate banking workflows into AI use cases across core operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with HKMA, AML, KYC, and data privacy regulations in all AI systems.
- Troubleshoot mission-critical banking applications to maintain zero downtime and compliance.
- Drive modernization of legacy banking systems using GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
- Champion innovation by integrating advanced AI securely into existing financial platforms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years in system development, with 5+ years in banking or FinTech.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial products, and HKMA regulatory frameworks.
- Proven project management experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall using JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.
- Skilled in conducting workshops, gap analysis, and writing BRD/FRD and user stories.
- Proficient in AI/ML concepts, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and enterprise deployment of LLMs.
- Hands-on expertise in Prompt Engineering, RAG frameworks, and AI Agent integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, with cloud experience in AWS or AliCloud.
- Experience in legacy banking modernization with Generative AI; fluent English, Cantonese a plus.
