An industry leader is currently seeking a Senior System Engineer with strong experience in Linux systems, VMware and hands-on operational support.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company’s IT server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage sizable system platforms, including Linux and VM Ware Server environments.
- Ensure system availability through setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual machines (VM) and physical servers.
- Provide change management, incident management and Disaster Recovery .
- Support Kubernetes platforms as needed (basic troubleshooting, operational support, monitoring/observability).
Qualifications:
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supporting large-scale server environments on Linux and VMWare.
- Practical experience with change and incident management processes .
- Knowledge/experience with Kubernetes operational support and administration is preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
