Seeking a Wi-Fi Engineer to lead and deliver end-to-end Wi-Fi projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Wi Fi project designs including access point placement, network topology, and capacity planning.
- Configure and deploy Wi Fi hardware (APs, controllers if applicable, VLANs, SSIDs, security settings).
- Perform network optimization: RF tuning, channel planning, power settings, roaming behavior, and performance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity drops, slow speeds, dead zones, and interference.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including site reports, as-built diagrams, and handover notes.
- Collaborate with clients/teams to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and successful commissioning.
- Provide post-deployment support and improvement recommendations based on real performance results.
Qualifications:
- Min 5 years’ hands-on experience in delivering Wi Fi projects
- Practical experience with common enterprise and prosumer platforms such as Cisco/Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS, NAT, firewall basics.
- Ability to use tools for testing/validation (examples: spectrum/RF tools, network analyzers, speed/throughput testing).
- Good communication and ability to translate project needs into technical solutions.
